They are not developed from templates; they are tailor-made for your business. They can incorporate your existing branding and marketing materials, colour schemes and logos. All pages of your site will use the same design layout, style and colour scheme - all chosen by you.

All our website design packages include:

Custom website design

We design a site specifically for you - no templates are used. We will add your text and images and appropriate links between them. You can include information about your services or products, background information about your business and your contact details.

Your business logo and colour scheme will be incorporated into the site design.

Free .co.uk domain name

- is included in the price of all our web design packages for 2 years. We will register your domain name or names on your behalf, and they will be registered in your name. They will be yours for as long as you want to pay the fee. All the details will be forwarded to you when they become available.

Domain names are usually registered for 2 years and then they will need to be renewed. We will send you a reminder for this renewal 4 weeks before it is due.
If you want other domain name extensions (eg. .com) these will incur an additional smal, cost.

Free web hosting

is included in all our website design packages for 1 year (subsequent annual renewal thereafter) with a UK based hosting company.

EMail

- "Catch-All" E-Mail Address - this enables you to have any-name@yourdomain.co.uk forwarded to your existing e-mail account

Photographs

- in addition to your logo and banner image, we will re-sized and fully optimised all your images for the web for speedy download times. We can also scan any photographs you need for the website.

A customised customer enquiry form [not on "Essentials"]

- a customised customer enquiry form for your business is included in all packages except "Essentials", coded to help protect against spam. It includes two fields for the name and email address of your visitor; two short customised questions and space for a more open customised question where you can give your visitor more space to pose a question or give a more detailed response. Your contact details

- your name, business name, address, opening times, telephone numbers, prices special offers and any other information you want about your business, published on the web, available 24 hours a day to any potential customer.

Navigation

We will provide clear content and consistent navigation which answers your customers' questions and enables them to move round your site quickly and easily.

Advice on meta tags

We will provide clear advice on page title tags and meta description tags for each page, which are then added to those pages.
These two tags are the most important tags on a web page and are designed to provide information to search engines about the contents of the page and to help readers decide whether to click on the link to the page or not.

Web Standards

All our websites are designed and coded to meet W3C world standards - the international standards organisation for the World Wide Web. That includes validated XHTML and CSS coding. All pages will also conform to level A of the W3C's "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0" [add note about why this is important]

  so you can be found on Google, Yahoo, MSN etc., and potential customers can find you easily

Our "Essentials website design package" is the perfect place to start to create your first website.

If you have just started out in business or have never had a website before, this is where you may like to begin – with an affordable one or two page website.

Start-up Website Design Package

Our "Start-up Website Design Package" is a five page website.

This is an ideal size for a small business, a guest house or B&B. It gives you an online brochure to advertise your business. There will be enough space to describe your business, products and services and convey information about yourselves

Business Website Design Package

Our "Business Website Design Package" includes all the features of our "Start-up Package" and up to ten pages on the web.

A great deal of information can be added to this type of website and with a site map and easy navigation, more pages can be added for a minimal cost.

This is a useful package where you have a lot of information you want to convey to your visitors and you want to break it up into manageable chunks.

All pages of your website will use the same design layout, style and colour scheme.

Prices do not include the use of additional coding such as java-script, flash etc; animation or browser specific add-ons: these will require additional time and resources, and this will be reflected in the overall price.

Running Costs

Web hosting

This cost is included in the initial price of your new site for the first year.
Subsequently, there is a small charge. For a typical small business the cost would be about £40 for 1 year.

Note, however, that this cost is outside our control, and may change without notice.

Domain name registration

This cost is included in the initial price of your new site for the first 2 years.
Subsequently, there is a small charge. A typical price for a ".co.uk" address is £20 for 2 years.

These are the only 2 additional costs you will incur in the running of your website.
